Below is a selection of terrestrial species found beneath downed tree limbs and logs in a wooded area near the Arlington Lions Club boat ramp, Jacksonville, Duval Co., FL on 12/17/2008. The largest specimens shown are all Ventridens volusiae with the largest specimen measuring about 8.5 mm. Other species present in the ensemble include Helicodiscus species, Hawaiia minuscula (A. Binney, 1841) Minute Gem, and Zonitoides arboreus (Say, 1817) Quick Gloss. |
