Euglandina rosea (Férussac, 1821) Predation On Polygyra septemvolva Say, 1818

This 56.5 mm. specimen was collected from the roadside swale on the west side of US-1 about 3.1 miles northwest of International Golf Parkway, St. Johns County, Florida on 11/16/2018. It, and a 63.9 mm. specimen found nearby, were subsequently dissected. The smaller of the two, pictured below, was found to have three Polygyra septemvolva in its gut while the larger specimen had only a single partially digested Polygyra septemvolva present.
