Euglandina rosea (Férussac, 1821) Rosy Wolfsnail - Very Large Specimen

   In the roadside swale on the west side of US-1 about 3.1 miles northwest of International Golf Parkway, St. Johns County, Florida, 11/7/2018 (78.3 mm.) and 11/9/2018 (68.6 mm). The bottom image shows the 78.3 mm. specimen immediately after it was removed from the substrate. The live specimen also pictured was not retained.
