Amphidromus perversus rufocinctus Fruhstorfer, 1905

Type locality is Bawean Island which is 60 miles off the north coast of Java between Java and Borneo. Collectors recently made a trip there and discovered a colony at the eastern end of the island. "Rufocinctus" means "red girdled". The girdle is not exactly red but is quite apparent below the periphery on all the specimens discovered so far.
