Larus atricilla Laughing Gull |
| This Laughing Gull was photographed at low tide on 3/4/2007as it made its way along the periphery of the south St. Johns River Jetty at Mayport Naval Station in search of a meal. A recent northeaster had washed a diverse selection of sea life onto the beach, so this specimen and its kin were enjoying unusually good hunting. |
