Euglandina rosea (Férussac, 1821) Juvenile In Situ |
|
Under dry downed palm fronds, St. Johns Bluff Road at Interstate 295, Jacksonville, Duval County, Florida, 10/2/2019. Based upon its appearance, it seems likely that the juvenile had just finished swallowing a prey snail - most likely a juvenile Bulimulus sporadicus (d’Orbigny, 1835) (another species common in this habitat). |
