Pink-washed Looper Moth [Enigmogramma basigera] Caterpillar

    This specimen was found beneath a piece of discarded cardboard in the roadside swale on the west side of US-1 in far northeastern St. Johns County, Florida on 1/30/2021. The colorful specimen measured about one inch.
